• Describe the management and leadership elements of your dental nurse role.
• Identify the specific skills and knowledge needed for safe leadership in practice.
• Recognise when to seek support, supervision or escalate concerns.
• Use clear communication, constructive feedback and defined roles to support colleagues.
• Plan realistic development within the dental nursing scope of practice.
