This course is for dental nurses seeking CPD mapped to the GDC Safe Practitioner Framework Professionalism learning outcome P 1.5: Describe the GDC's expectations and requirements as set out in regulations and guidance and other relevant laws, ethical guidance and systems (in addition to the above legal frameworks).

SPF fit: This course supports the GDC Safe Practitioner Framework domain of Professionalism, sub domain Ethics and Integrity. It concentrates on learning outcome P 1.5 and relates to behaviours P(B)8, P(B)10 and P(B)14.

GDC expectations apply to all registrants, including dental nurses. You are professionally accountable: know the standards that define your role, work within your scope, maintain relevant knowledge, follow local systems, and raise questions or escalate when guidance, instructions or expectations are unclear.
